Fall Appalachian Riding Tour - BMWST's fall gathering with four days in Maggie Valley riding western NC roads.

Loaded and ready to go.

Was foggy leaving Jax on US1.

Then got wet and stayed foggy. This lasted for a couple hours until we ran into great weather in mid GA.

Pork chop lunch special at The Home Fresh Bistro in Louisville, a favorite stop. Excellent food and the folks are the friendliest you will ever meet.

Bernie had the same plus cheescake. And two cups of coffee, of course.

Great weather, mostly 60s and 70s at altitude. This was somewhere on the BRP between MV and Little Switzerland. The leaves were just beginning to change.

I admit it, a favorite thing to do is photo the bike against a great background.

Jonathan Creek, just behind the Jonathan Creek Inn. Go figure.
Was a great place to have a read in one of the swings.

LtoR is Chris (lawnchairboy), Shannon (TN_R11girl), with his back turned is Jim (JimWilliams I believe), Bill (Roadscholar), and Marty (Marty Hill) swapping lies of course.
The other motel guest didn't know whether to be scared of all the bikers or not. No beer cans, quiet bikes, and few visable tats confused them.
